LinkedIn LIVE Interview with Brit Stueven
On Friday, February 28th, Brit Stueven celebrates another year of soaking-in everything life has to offer.
Britt is a multi-passionate creative, storyteller, and master communicator with 20 years of experience in marketing, community building, and coaching. She’s the author of Mama Be Present and the producer of Moms on the Mic. Throughout her career, Brit has mentored thousands of individuals in writing, personal growth, and stepping outside their comfort zones.
She currently leads The DBP Society, a writing program designed to help aspiring writers find the confidence to share their stories. Whether through writing, speaking, or mentoring, Brit’s work centers on connecting people to their courage.
When she’s not tapping away on her laptop, she’s pretending with her 6-year-old, dancing in the kitchen, or laughing till her cheeks hurt—often at her own bad jokes.
In our pre-interview, I always ask Are there any topics or questions you want to avoid? and she responded “nah. I'm an open book.” And she means it. In this episode, we’ll talk about how her book Mama Be Present connected us; how her sobriety made room for her to do all the things she’s wanted to do from stand-up to wildly honest newsletters. She’s lost some followers and gained a writing group that is just as good for her as it is those who have never before had such a creative space to grow.
Brit and I both gush about Elizabeth Gilbert (Big Magic), our moms, and other women who have inspired us to live audaciously. Brit breaks through the buzzwords and quick fixes with big promises and keeps life simple: pursuing “lightbulb moments when someone realizes that they CAN do something and that they ARE a writer, speaker, or artist.” We’ll talk realness over perfection AND creating spaces that are financially accessible and rewarding.
Join us on Thursday, February 27th at 9:45am MST as we discuss all these things and more!
