LinkedIn LIVE Interview with Cynthia Moos
My next guest for Nota Bene could not have come at a more perfect time as I pursue more ease, connection, and joy in my life.
Cynthia Moos is a Provence native and founder of Best French Forever, a lifestyle brand dedicated to women, inspired by the Provençal art de vivre. Her mission is to invite women to slow down, reconnect with themselves and curate a life they love. She hosts immersive retreats in Provence, designed to recharge, explore picturesque villages, and savor the slow life of Provence.
However, once you’ve had a taste of this transformational experience, you’ll naturally crave ways to integrate that same approach at home. That’s why Cynthia has created Le BFF Club, an online community for women interested in slow living and the French culture. Each month, she hosts conversations about the art of living, helping you maintain a connection with France and discover fresh inspirations.
Her online shop also features a curated selection of handcrafted items for the home, beauty, and wellness—letting you bring a piece of Provence into your home.
Cynthia made the brage leap to leave behind her job in corporate America and take a leap of faith to create a life more aligned with who she is. “I'm still a work in progress but happy with where I am and where I'm going!”
Her list of mentors and muses is long and well populated with exceptional women like Kate Bailey of TARRA (and all the women there), Elles Collective (networking group of Francophone women in business), and a dance teacher who always had a good life lesson at the ready.
Cynthia is the definition of a gals gal but she also is a pace setter, resisting the hustle culture in the US. She’s less focused on replying to an email right away and by doing that she says “ I'm hoping that it can give permission to others to take their time too.And one by one we can help change the culture!” What a profoundly simple yet elegant take on personal and professional communication.
We could all use a bit of joie de vivre these days, but that comes with intention and practice. Cynthia has been saying yes more to quite time for herself and avoiding overcommitting or people pleasing. That’s what she’s all about… The art of slow living!
Are you looking to press pause and slow down? The group is complete for her June “Lavender Lover” trip but she just opened the registrations for her September retreat in Provence. There is truly no better place to reset among an intimate group of soul-minded women invested in saying YES to yourself.
This is not a superficial “self-care” journey. To ensure an harmonious group and meaningful connections, she has a small application process designed to make sure that expectations and wishes align with the group and the activities thoughtfully curated to be an unforgettable experience. In partnering with small businesses that respect the environment, she sticks to the values of craftsmanship and sustainability embedded in the way of life in Provence.
Connect with Cynthia to learn all about her journey as a founder and the magic of Provence that she shares with others and please comment with any questions you may have as we chat about all this and more.
