LinkedIn LIVE Interview with Noah Loudon

Today’s guest for Nota Bene is Noah Loudon, co-founder of Budi.

Noah got his first sales job at age 15 and has always enjoyed working with people. After graduating from University of Washington, he enjoyed a decade working as an account executive and is currently launching Budi - a Seattle-based startup helping seniors with rides, errands, and chores.

“I love the fact that Budi actually makes a positive difference in people's lives. Our customers and employees all see what we're doing as a bit different than a typical business - something service-driven with an emphasis on driving value to consumers that actually need our help.”

Budi is filling a deep human need by helping someone with no family nearby and they have had a lot of help getting to where they are today including:

Ted Dann, a Budi investor and has been instrumental in helping us get to market.

Jaime Mcavity: Massively generous with his time and assistance helping Budi get off the ground and setting them up with all the tools to be successful in their first funding round.

For muses, Noah also counts the late, great Steve Jobs of Apple in promoting elegance, simplification that has inspired the way Budi was built.

Noah has also developed an appreciation for thick skin in this entrepreneur space and is unabashed in his dedication to data honesty. “So many people seem to focus on manipulating data so it says what they want (or they stop measuring when they see something they don't like). I don't think data should have optics and I tend to avoid people who think this way.”

Noah is going all in with his business but he still makes time for family and friends by closing his email after 5pm. What is he saying YES to? He prioritizes his physical and mental wellness, learning opportunities (specifically marketing, PR, and community building), and connecting with potential partners for Budi. Noah is saying NO to self doubt/negative thinking/bad vibes. Positive thinking and good vibes has been at the core of his career and continues to be a value as Budi grows and hires talent for his team.

We’ll talk about senior care and the issue that retired parents and their children are living farther apart than ever. If you are Hospital/health system case managers, retirement community directors, healthcare journalists, outpatient clinic directors… connect with Noah!
