Tips & Tricks

  • Calendars

The back and forth of scheduling is enough to make anyone lose momentum. Reduce the amount of friction going back and forth by simply creating a calendar link that syncs with your calendars in iCal, Google, or Outlook. Calendly is honestly the best but even Squarespace now has a scheduling option. The best part is the automated texts, emails, and calendar invites.

  • Photos

You don’t need a professional photographer if you can find stock photos that match the look you’re hoping to achieve. Check out Unsplash (native to Squarespace), Death to Stock Photo, or Pixabay for free photos. For premium photos, I suggest checking out Getty Images or my personal favorite Adobe Stock.

  • Visuals

Okay everyone knows this but Canva is a free design tool used to create visual assets like logos, social media graphics, presentations, flyers, business cards, and so much more.

  • Emojis

I love adding emoji’s in a newsletter subject line to stand out from all the other emails in someone’s inbox. The best resource I’ve found for this is Emojipedia because it also gives a bit of context of how it’s used.
